A New England Pecan Pie Recipe

This pecan pie recipe has been served at every Thanksgiving and Christmas for well over 50 years. My grandmother, my mother, and I have been baking this pie and I have yet to modify it (I usually change or tweak recipes to make them my own).

 Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees F. 

Ingredients for Linda’s old Fashioned New England Pecan Pie recipe

    * 3 large eggs

    * 1 cup sugar

    * 1/2 teaspoon salt

    * 2 Tbsp melted butter

    * 1 cup light corn syrup

    * 2 cup pecans

    * 1 tsp Vanilla

    * 1 unbaked 9" pie shell 

Beat eggs, vanilla, sugar & salt. Add butter & syrup & mix in pecans.

In a pie pan, place your pie crust pastry and pour your mixture over the pastry. 

Bake 40-45 minutes.
