A visit to the Charlotte Inn on Martha's Vineyard - Edgartown, MA
As a prelude to the Charlotte Inn and the romantic story of its owners, Gery and Paula Conover, being on the Hallmark Channel, I am excited to share photos from our own very romantic visits to the inn.
A quick synopsis of the Hallmark Christmas show A Godwink Christmas - Miracles of Christmas.
As Christmas approaches, Paula (Kimberley Sustad), a St. Louis antique appraiser, reluctantly accepts a marriage proposal from her boyfriend, Daniel (Giles Panton, Chesapeake Shores) a career-driven attorney. When her Aunt Jane (Kathie Lee Gifford) senses she has mixed emotions over the engagement, she invites Paula to her home on Nantucket. Among her plans, Aunt Jane sets up an antiquing trip to the nearby island of Martha's Vineyard. At the last moment, Jane gets a call preventing her from going, but insists that Paula go without her. Godwinks of weather and divine alignment lead Paula to meeting Gery Conover (Paul Campbell), owner of the charming Charlotte Inn on the Vineyard. (Information from A Godwink Christmas website.)
Having met Paula and Gery in the past, I am personally looking forward to watching this romantic love story on the Hallmark Channel.

As I mentioned earlier, this post is being created to coincide with the Charlotte Inn’s debut in A Godwink Christmas that is coming out this weekend.
On a side note, my husband and I were watching the Hallmark Channel last week and I recognized the Griswold Inn, another historic New England Inn located in Essex, Connecticut.
When my husband Ben and I first visited Martha's Vineyard, we had the pleasure of enjoying cocktails at the Inn while we stayed at a nearby hotel. It was during that visit we knew the Charlotte Inn would have to be our home away from home the following year.
