Flower Seed Favors

Flower favors for a baby sip & see. Note: I removed the baby's name on this photo, but this would also be a cute idea for a garden wedding, engagement party, or any other type of party.

Let Love Grow! These flower seed favors packets were part of a baby sip and see party that I planned and created for a client. The seed packets were ordered on line and when my client asked me how she should present them to guests, I came up with this cute little display.  (For those unfamiliar with a Sip & See Party... it is a party created to introduce a new baby to friends and family while enjoying cocktails and appetizers or buffet)

How To Make Flower Seed Packet Party Favors - Items Needed:

Seed Packets (you can even use packets from your local garden center and add your own label)

Small pots of herbs

Burlap covered basket

Mini Fence

Sheet Moss

Skewers or thin sticks

Tape

As much as possible, when creating displays, I try to use items that are multi-purpose, so for this favor basket, I purchased small pots of thyme that my client was going to plant in her garden after the party.

The thyme was placed in a burlap covered basket followed by few sections of mini fences. The mini fence was found at Michaels Craft Store and if I remember correctly it was in an area for fairy house supplies.

Once the seed favor basket was put together, I took a few of the seed packets and taped cut skewers to the back of them and pushed the skewer into the soil of the herb pots.

The party favors that were for the guests, were laid out atop a sheet of faux green moss. The If you do decided to use real moss, make sure to protect your furniture from any moisture or mess.

As I mentioned, these cute favors could be used for many different parties including:

A Tea Party

House Warming Party

Birthday Party
