Green, White, and Brown design inspiration by Mother Nature.

During a past visit to the Butterfly Place in Westford, MA, I was surrounded by tropical butterflies of all colors, but I found myself drawn to the green and white flora with brown butterflies.

Decorating interiors or creating a party celebration using colors inspired by nature can be a fun and satisfying task.  You just need to look around you and see what inspires your soul.  Below you will find a few home decor and table setting ideas using the colors of green, white, and brown that I pulled together using my two butterfly photos as design inspiration.

Ranunculus brought home from the local florist - via New England Fine Living

I love how this simple display of white Ranunculus, set in single glass bottles, seemed to be shadow dancing in our front foyer.
