How to make snowball slime

I was in need of something my 3 1/2 year old grand nephew to do, so I whipped up a batch of snowball slime.

Here is how I did it.

For a small batch:

1 - 4 oz bottle of white Elmer’s Glue

1 1/2 to 2 Tbs. extra fine white glitter (these can be made without glitter)

1/2 Tbs. Baking Soda

1/2 Tbs. Contact lens solution

In a bowl, first mix the glue and glitter together, once combined, add the baking soda and mix together

Add the contact lens solution and mix in the bowl first, then take it out and pull and stretch it with your hands. It will become firmer and less sticky as you go (Just like pulling taffy)

Note: If you want it really slimy, less contact lens solution and if you want it more like a Silly Putty, more solution. For the 4 oz. I tried three different amounts to achieve this.

1/2 Tbs contact lens solution for more fluid slime

1 Tbs for middle

1 1/2 Tbs for more like silly putty.

Place in an airtight container until use.
