The search is over! I finally found a fake tree to replace a real one.

The dining room 2024 Christmas tree had to be one of my favorites. Cut while on vacation in Maine, this little tree was one of my favorites. It reminded me of a feather tree, giving space for treasured ornaments to hang freely, including a few strands of lead tinsel saved by my in-laws. By the end of the season, even with constant watering, the tree dropped almost off of its needles and I decided then I wanted to recreate the look, but I wanted to find a fake Christmas tree that could pass the test of looking like a real tree.

I had already sold two faux trees that I tried to love for years, but in the end, I felt I was just looking at a plastic tree that had great marketing of looking real (the brand I did not like has the initials BH). That said, I do have a fake / faux Christmas tree I found thrift shopping one year and I LOVE the quality of it. I hought they were no longer in business, but I was so wrong! I found they are not only still in business, but they are a New England neighbor based out of New Jersey. I hopped online and found the little tree below on Amazon. I am going to share the tree link here, but at the time of this post, I don’t know what they have left for inventory.

I ordered the above Christmas tree with hesitation, but once it arrived, I took it out of the box and spread its branches with glee! It was just what I was looking for. It even came with an attached weighted container that fit perfectly into one of my iron stone pots. I will mention now that I loved it so much, I have ordered two more that will be put to good use.

The day I am writing this post, I’m waiting for a new set of clip on candles to arrive since the ones I purchased last year were way to finicky for my taste. Sometimes they would work and sometimes they wouldn’t. I will let you know how I like the new candles once they arrive. They are supposed to be similar to our battery operated window candles which have been going strong (with battery replacement) for three years now and we love how they work with their timer.

UPDATE! The candle tree lights have arrived and I am over the moon with joy of how they look and work. The tip has a very fine point and fades to a darker color, making it so realistic when lit. This link will take you to my Christmas Amazon Page where they are listed

This little tree will find its way into the dining room, but right now, I’m enjoying it in the kitchen as a beautiful plain faux tree.
