The best and easiest Homemade Bread Pudding I have ever had

Every time I order bread pudding, while out at a restaurant, I would say I hope it is like my mother’s homemade bread pudding. I have yet to find one that I like better than my mother’s bread pudding. Here is a tutorial on how to make it.

If you like a super moist bread pudding that needs a spoon to serve vs a knife, this recipe is for you!

Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees

6 to 8 slices of bread soaked in 2 cups of water (this can be plain white bread, fruit, fruit and nut… any bread of choice)

1 large can of Evaporated milk

Pinch of Salt

1 Cup of sugar

1/2 Tsp Vanilla

2 Eggs slightly beaten.

Once the bread has soaked up all of the water and is wet, break the bread into small pieces into a mixing bowl and add all of the ingredients until well mixed.

Bake for 2 hours in a casserole dish.

When you first tae the best bread pudding out of the oven, it will be “raised” and will fall quickly. that is normal.

Serve warm with whipped cream, maple syrup, or ice cream or serve cold with topping of choice.

Enjoy!
