A no need to knead bread recipe that is so easy and delicious!

I love fresh baked bread and I used to make it a lot in the past, but at times it was a bit too time consuming for my busy schedule.

Well, I finally found this super easy recipe that is also very delicious! It’s pretty much mixing four ingredients together, letting it rise, roll it and shape it, and bake it! Yes, it’s that simple!

I’m currently using a vintage stoneware Le Creuset 2 quart Dutch Oven, but I do feel a larger size, at least a 3 quart, would be better.

3 1/2 cups of bread flour

2 tsp salt

1 packet fast acting yeast

1 1/2 cups warm water

Combine all ingredients as listed into a stand mixer.

Mix with a dough hook on low until the dough is combined well and sticky. If needed add more warm water in small increments.

Remove the bowl from the mixer and cover with a damp cloth.

Set it aside for 3 hours. Begin the next step after three hours or refrigerate.

Pre-heat oven to 450 degrees

After 3 hours remove the dough from the bowl and lightly roll the dough around on a floured surface to shape, then put it on top of parchment paper in a dutch oven and cover.

Bake for 30 minutes

Remove the lid and brush with an egg wash (egg yolk and water mixed)

Put back into the oven uncovered for 12 to 15 minutes

Remove and let cool before cutting the bread.
