Our Pink Passion Martini recipe... not only pretty... it's delicious and refreshing!

When it’s time to create a custom martini or cocktail for a party, I head off to the liquor store and market with nothing more than a theme in mind.

When I decide to create a cocktail, I first pull a lot of different items together that a feel will blend well together then I start creating different blends.I can assure you that many of the cocktail blends are poured down the drain before I find the right drink recipe for a party or special event.

With no set plans, I gather ingredients that I know will not only taste great together, but will make a statement.

For this cocktail, I knew in advance I wanted to try something with passion fruit since it was going to be for a Valentines photo shoot in another magazine. And you guessed it, LOVE was the theme. A wrench was quickly thrown into my non-plans when I found out passion fruit was out of season. I had to figure something else out, but to my surprise, I found passion fruit liqueur by Passoa while at the liquor store!

Below, please find the recipe on how to make this passion fruit cocktail, which will fill two martini glasses (of course you could use any glass you would like to sip from and I will show you two glasses I used on this page)

1 1/2 oz Passion fruit Liqueur (I used Passoa, but there are other brands)

1 1/2 oz Triple Sec

1 1/2 oz Watermelon Pucker

3 oz pink Lemonade

Sparkling Water

1 Blood Orange

In a large shaker filled with ice, add all of the liquid ingredients EXCEPT for the sparkling water.  Shake until cold and pour into your martini glasses while leaving some room for a splash of sparkling water.  Garnish with a slice of blood orange for added flavor and color.
