Real or faux plants
I recently came home with a few consignment/thrift shop items, or as I call them… my “fine living finds'“ and one of the items I picked up was a faux rosemary topiary. When my husband helped carry items into the house, he asked if it was real or fake. I knew it was a successful purchase, especially since the live rosemary plants I have in our kitchen are struggling.
My goal this year is to be as successful with indoor plants as I am with outdoor plants, but for now, I have no problem using good quality faux plants in our old New England home. Unfortunately they don’t help with air quality, I can’t snip a piece to use in my cooking, and they lack the fragrance, but when it comes to using as kitchen decor, it works for me!
What about you? Do you use faux plants in your home if they look so real someone would water them? I’ve had that happen. It’s kind of funny.
