It’s the simple things that make me happy, including a box of wood!

Without fail, each and every year, my husband orders Fatwood from Plow & Hearth. The box arrives on our doorstep just in time for the dropping temperatures and when the leaves start turning here in New England. At the time of this post, we have already had a fire roaring in the wood stove since the night temperatures dipped into the 40s. The Mr. and I still need to purchase a couple fireplace screens for our home, but that will happen really soon since we have already turned on our heat and I crave a crackling fire in our new home.
