Locations of movies and TV shows based in New England (or just pretending to be)
More and more movie companies are coming to New England to shoot scenes, produce whole shows, or to take photos and do research so that viewers believe they are in New England.
Over the years, it has been fun for me to see scenes being shot in our tiny out-of-the-way towns and seeing a location being transformed, such as Old Burial Hill cemetery in Marblehead, MA made to look like it just snowed.
Below is just a partial list of movies and shows that are either based in one or two New England states or are meant to look like they do.

Bewitched - Salem, Mass - I grew up to the TV show Bewitched, but when the movie came out I could not wait to see how the movie was re-imagined with Nicole Kidman and Will Ferrell.
