SNOW, LIGHT & DELIGHT: NH TOWN SHOWS ITS HOLIDAY SPIRIT WITH 3rd ANNUAL HOLIDAY HOUSE TOUR, DECEMBER 4

It's the most wonderful time of the year: the first snow, busy sidewalks, twinkling lights, holiday cheer – and a glimpse of beautifully decorated homes on the third annual Exeter Area Holiday House Tour. Happening Sunday, December 4, from 1-5 pm, the Holiday House Tour features a variety of homes decorated by talented area designers. Tickets are $20 each and may be purchased online at exeterareaholidayhousetour.com, on the organization's Facebook page, facebook.com/ExeterAreaHolidayHouseTour/, or by visiting Eventbrite.com. Ticket pick-up (and day-of purchases) are at Mandeville Canyon Designs, 28 Front St., Exeter. Ticket sale proceeds benefit Womenade of Greater Squamscott, a non-profit organization which provides short-term financial assistance to residents in need in Brentwood, East Kingston, Exeter, Kensington, Newfields and Stratham. The Holiday House Tour caps Exeter's Ring in the Season, four days of area events celebrating the holiday season.

“Visitors will be 'wowed' by this year's homes,” says Pam Oulundsen, chair of the Holiday House Tour committee. “It's a great opportunity to enjoy each home's holiday decorations and spend a festive afternoon visiting downtown Exeter and its environs.”

This year's tour features five homes professionally decorated for the season. Area designers work closely with homeowners to create environments that are delightfully diverse, creating holiday décor that's unique and on-trend. In addition to the house tour, visitors can enjoy lunch at Exeter restaurants and shop at picturesque downtown stores. Special events and discounts may be found at exeterareaholidayhousetour.com and on Facebook as the event approaches. Last year's house tour raised over $19,000 for Womenade of Greater Squamscott.
