Hello Kindred Spirits,
I’m very excited to share something that I’ve been working on! I have created a new series of our seasonal Fine Living Boxes calleD:
A Step Through Time & Seasons Collection
The collection has been inspired by New England’s charming lifestyle, my personal experience of bustling about Sugarwood’s kitchen and baking, along with my love of celebrating New England Fine Living all year long, no matter how simple or grand that may be.
Today, I would like to introduce you to the first box in the collection:
The Baker’s Nook Box - A cozy, baking-inspired box for relaxing mornings at home. Enjoy a seasonal celebration of flour-dusted countertops, cookies, and candlelight in a well-loved kitchen.
Inside this box you’ll find a few special items for the kitchen, including our brand-new Tavern Morning Candle, which was inspired by the scent of fresh pastries and coffee drifting from the kitchen. The candle is not only a nod to childhood memories of the scent while visiting our local bakery with my mother, but also the original Green Dragon Tavern, in Boston, MA.
The Green Dragon Tavern was not only a meeting house where The Sons of Liberty secretly met, but it has been noted that baked goods and coffee were served early in the morning, in the tavern, to weary travelers.
If you love cozy kitchens, warm scents, and a little seasonal joy, I really believe you’ll enjoy The Baker’s Nook Box, shown below.

Pantry & Home - This year’s Fall Box
This year’s fall box is a refined autumn curation created for those who find joy in fine yet simple seasonal comforts of feeling warm and cozy in their own home (there is a hint in that sentence ).
As always, the contents of the box are a surprise, but here is a little sneak peek:
Featured in this box are two signature items: our Sugarwood 1790 Vanilla Extract, crafted in small batches by Menlo Distillery in Kentucky, and our new Pantry Vanilla Candle, whether lit or not, this candle throws a delicious and pure vanilla bean scent. While testing this particular vanilla candle, contractors working in our home kept asking what I was baking. This did not happen while sampling other vanilla candles. It truly fills a room with a warm hug.
The vanilla and the candle are just a part of this thoughtfully chosen collection. The Pantry & Home box will to help you create your own cozy space, seasonal rituals, and moments of calm. This year’s box is a bit more elevated than those offered in the past and created for those who want to enjoy a bit of fine living, while enjoying the quiet beauty of autumn at home.

The Witching Hour - 1692 is this year’s Halloween Box
Inspired by the history of Salem, Massachusetts, whispered folklore, and quiet enchantment, this elegant Halloween box is for anyone who delights in the refined side of this spooky season. Designed to stir the imagination and awaken your sense of wonder, each item is curated not just for Halloween, much of it will be enjoyed all year round by those who love a touch of magic and mystery.

Balsam, citrus, and winter spice are the inspiration for this Colonial inspired New England Christmas box.
Launching late October / early November - We are still waiting on items from some of our vendors. Once everything has arrived and boxed, I will set the release date.On a side note: I would like to mention that the Fine Living Boxes will not be shipped in our signature black boxes this year; some of the items being included in the Pantry & Home Box and The Witching Hour - 1692 box were too large to fit.
