Can you imagine the amount of meals these vintage plates have seen? Not to be hidden away, these vintage plates, along with some new items, have come together from all over the world and are now at home in New England and part of our much used collection.

It’s the first full week of the new year and I thought this would be a great time to share some of my thoughts and plans for New England Fine Living in 2019. I’m creating a post schedule not only for my sanity, but to mimic the original business plan when New England Fine Living first began.

In the summertime, downtown Portsmouth is busy, especially with tourists, but in the winter, storefront windows are decorated with holiday finery, shoppers enjoy popping in and out of quaint boutiques, and the Christmas decorations on many of the antique homes is simply magical.

Our kitchen went through on a mini makeover before we start a full remodel. These photos will show you the transition stage. This kitchen project will start after we finish our master bedroom and bathroom suite remodel.
